Mrs. E. N. McClellan was member of, and at one point Chairman of, a ladies reading group (Chevy Chase Reading Club).
The McClellans were deployed to Honolulu in June 1925; Quantico, Virginia 1927; Portland, Oregan in 1928; and to the Marine Corps Headquarters in 1930, perhaps living at the Army Navy Club.
