Deed December 1961 Liber TD 19 Folio 178-72 sale of land later described as part of lot 18 in Block 46 Section II to Mary Steel Claude by the Cheuy Chase Land Company for $35.
Deed March 1983 but recorded September 1918 (after the death of Mary Steel Claude) Liber 214 Folio 468-61 described as part of lot 18 to Mary Steel Claude by the Chevy Chase Land Company for $35.
Mary Steel Claude died in 1918 and left the property to her children Jessie S. Claude, Marie K. Claude, Herbert Claude and Eluiood Claude. In September of 1918 Herbert Claude deeded his share to his sisters Jessie and Marie.This is recorded in Deed September 1910 Liber 214, Folio 458-59.

Interestingly, the deed includes the following: "Subject however to the right to use the well pump paraphernalia and pump house nouu located on said lot 13 and the land occupied by same with the right of ingress and egress which are hereby reserved unto the said party of the first part, its succesors and assigns."

Deed 7484 Folio 864 December 1986 sale by Thomas and Joan Braden all of lot 7, part of lot 8 and part of lot 6 to David and Susan Brinkley for $225,000. This property is now known as lot 40.
Deed June 1992 Liber 10443 Folio 612 sale by Thomas and Joan Braden to David Elliot and his wife Lilian Francklyn. This included part of lot 10 and lot 41 which lots contain the house.
