A large (12 x 14) scrapbook created by Emma Louise Trotter, who was a student at Chevy Chase Junior College. The scrapbook features various objects related to the college and Trotter's time there. Objects put together in the scrapbook include letters, birthday cards, photographs, handbooks, brochures, stickers, song papers, dance card, invitations, menus, and entertainment programs. The pages of the scrapbook are very brittle and break easily. Chevy Chase Junior College was located at 7100 Connecticut Avenue, now the National 4H Youth Conference Center. Donated by Julie Thomas in 2011 as part of the Julie Rude Thomas Collection of Chevy Chase History. |
