Photograph of 3700 Morrison Street, NW Not sure of the date or origin of this piece--likley source might be the CREO-DIPT Company of North Tonawanda NY. Contains information about architects, shingles on side of the house, color of paint. Apparently Lanier P.M. McLachlen was the son of the man who founded McLachlen National Bank which stood at 10th and G streets. His father's bank also built the Ontario Apartments in DC, now on the Historic Register. This house is at 3700 Morrison St. on the corner of Chevy Chase Parkway in Chevy Chase, DC. |
